Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff
I always like these crock pot recipes they are really easy and delicious! This one is a good one!
Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken
1 package of dry onion soup mix
1 onion, sliced
1 lb beef cut into small pieces
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can mushrooms (optional)
Put all ingredients in crock pot cook 6 - 8 hrs. Add 16oz sour cream before serving over egg noodles!
How To Make Bailey's Irish Cream
With the New Year approaching I figured this would be a fun recipe to try!
Bailey's Irish Cream
Ingredients:
1 c cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 2/3 c Irish Whiskey
1 tsp instant coffee
2 tbsp chocolate syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1tsp almond extract
Combine all ingredients and blend in blender at high speed for 30 seconds. Transfer to clean bottle with a tight fitting cap. Refrigerate, shake well before serving each time.

FREE Jr. Shake At Arby's!
WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!
Direct TV it by far the worst in customer service and honoring ANYTHING they promise! First, when we chose to go with them it was because of free HD and 2 DVR's. Well, we DO NOT get free HD it cost us $10 mo and when I called they refused to give it to me. Then they only gave us 1 DVR. I called and they said too bad I should have called in the first 30 days.... I didn't realize we got the wrong receiver until a little later because I was busy with my preemie and other children at the time. In addition they are the rudest most ungrateful for your business company I have ever dealt with! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! This is by far the short version. But to fill you in just a bit, 2 differnt times calling both calls transferred and hung up on numerous times (and NO, I was not mean just firm) and lasted over 2 hours each occurrence (mostly from hold times)!

Family Picture! Take A Good Look Because It Will Be At Least A Million Years Before My Husband Will Agree To One Again!
We had them taken before Christmas, but had to wait until after to post because we were giving to our parents as part of their gifts. And I did not want to ruin the surprise! :) Also, had to take a pic of our pic because we did not get the cd but I knew everyone is just dieing to see! LOL
I could not wait! I was soo excited to finally get a family portrait..... Until we got there! We went to the studio and of course they were running way behind. Baby has a bottle and somehow we managed to keep lil Boo happy and my oldest as expected is griping about even having to go in the first place. Yay! It is our turn! Here we go.... Baby is much more interested in looking at anything but the camera and my toddler is toddling and screaming all over but in front of the camera! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that my husband has a black eye from the night before from our rambunctious toddler but I figured they would "fix" that somehow. I mean we can do all that at home on out computers so I am sure the portrait studio can "touch up" a black eye! If only they could shed a couple extra pounds off of me too.... okay yeah I know wishful thinking. But anyway, as I mentioned before they were running behind so we got the short end of the stick on that too! They only took like 5 or 6 poses on our family but the family before us got like 15....WTH?! Whatever! Just get us outta here is what is on all of our minds by now. Here comes the part where they try to sell us the pictures and not a single photo has everyone looking at the camera (well except the one with just my hubby and me). And this girl tries to sell me a CD with 5 or 6 poses along with the terrible picture part and they could NOT "fix" that black eye of my husband for $300!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Too funny! I did still get suckered into spending $100 on a package with 3 poses because I figured. It will be funny in the future and it just captured exactly what are family is at this time! Just like the time my oldest cut his own hair the night before pictures at his day care. I was so mad! Until I figured, hey, this is him! All him! So he got to get his pictures taken with his new hair cut and he could not have been more proud, thinking he looked so cool! And I have the photo to prove it! LOL I can tell you this though, It will be a few years before we go back to any portrait studio.

Today Is A Beautiful Day
Here I am at home with my beautiful toddler and amazing baby! At first I was depressed because it is just the two of them and me today (my older son went to his grandparents and my husband went to work). I am here thinking it is just like any other day. Which in a way it is but really it is not. It is Christmas Day and I am blessed to spend it with two of my most precious gifts that any one could ever ask for. Today has been great! The three of us took "a long winters nap", much needed nap that is. We had a LOT happen yesterday and it is actually very nice to have a break in between celebrations. Tomorrow is the big celebration with my husbands side of the family. I love how close and strong this family is. I am proud and fortunate to have married into a family that is unbreakable.
I have a tenancy to get "gushy" sometimes and this is one of those times. I often wonder about my friends and acquaintances who choose not to get married or not to have children..... Why? How do you look at the world? I am too polite to ask anyone to their face because it may be reasons that are too personal. I look at it like this... YES it is hard a lot of times and YES it is true I don't get to (nor do I want to) party all of the time and YES it is even true that I sacrifice things I want really bad for my family. But to me, I am growing a support system, best friends, maybe even the next president?, and when I am old I will have my family to take care of us as we (my husband and me) have taken care of them and basically following the circle of life. I feel like I totally "get it". I get what life is all about and found the meaning of it through my family. That is why today, even though seemingly to be much like any other day is one fabulous Christmas Day for us! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
